Additional Notes: This is an amazing coffee produced in Ixil region Guatemala. The producers make up a Co-operatve comprising of over 1200 farmers. An organization Trifecta Coffee Co. started working with called The Coffee Trust has worked directly with farmers to deal with La Roya a fungus the destroyed almost 80% of their crop in 2014. Today they have achieved almost 75% of coffee production through education and a system where farmers teach other farmers better farming practices. Today the coffee in this area is firmly established again.
